Do I need to rent a car? Door-to-door ground transfer is available from SFO to your Sonoma lodging.
Only if you plan on side trips before or after your time with us, or wish to head out to the coast on your free
afternoon, would a car be necessary. While staying on the historic Sonoma Plaza, there is plenty to taste, see, feel
and do, just steps away from your door.
What do I wear and bring? For our champagne reception, wine pairing dinner, exploring on your own Friday, and
the grand finale dinner Saturday, it's wine country casual. For the vineyard and farm field trips, please pack casual
hiking pants or shorts, as well as boots or tennis shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Hats, sunscreen, and
sunglasses, are great accessories in the field (and between rows) as well.
How do I get to Sonoma? Sonoma is 60 miles north of SFO and OAK, with only SFO featuring door-to-door ground
transportation via the Sonoma Airporter (reservations required). The Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa is 30
miles north of Sonoma, and features direct flights from LA, Seattle, and Las Vegas, as well as rental car agencies on
site.
Can I go From Farm to Table, and spend a Weekend with Jeff Cox, with just my own group?
Private weekend-long field trips are available on a limited basis for families, friends, and company events.
I'm ready to reserve my place at the table! Drop us a line on our reserve page. We will contact you asap and
personally assist you in reserving your space on a Sonoma culinary field trip. Due to the variable and tailored
nature of the weekend (private wine tastings, farm appointments, etc), reservations must be made 30 days in
advance. A 50% deposit is due upon reserving, with the balance due 30 days out. Inside the 30 day mark (if
space remains), a pre-paid trip reserves your seat at the table.
When can I go?
Edible (and sippable!) treasure hunts: July 17-20 (SOLD OUT), July 24-27 (SOLD OUT), July 31-Aug 3,
Aug 21-24, Sept 4-7, Sept 11-14, and Oct 9-12. Space is limited - groups are robust enough to have fun
with new friends, yet intimate enough to enjoy a dinner table.
How much does it cost? $2950 per couple (based on double occupancy), $1950 per single.
