What is your mission?
It is two-fold. For our members, we develop connections among local farmers and
merchants that inspire opportunities for professional development and cooperative
marketing. For the public, we promote the connection between healthy family farms
and vibrant communities through awareness-building, direct marketing of high-quality
products, on-farm events and other educational activities.

What type of events do you hold?
Once to several times a month, we host an outing on one of our local, family farms or
ranches. Sonoma's producers take time away from busy days to open their gates for our
guests. Every outing is different, each event unique, but the usual agenda is: walk the
land, pat the critters, meet the farmer, then get dirty (build a pie? groom a goat? make
some cheese?) or stay clean (a farm-driven dinner just as local as you can get). Our
outings are a pretty intimate affair with always a limited number of guests.

e-newsletter (by dropping us an email). Another good way to keep connected is the little blue bird over which
everyone's all a'Twitter. Due to the nature of outings (terrain and wine served) we're currently hosting adults only,
21 and over. Our 2012 season will see the addition of fun specifically geared for families.
